Regular maintenance and safety checks enhance the performance, reliability and life cycle of all catering equipment. By carrying out regular preventive maintenance on your key equipment, we can reduce the risk of breakdown, increase the efficiency of the equipment, ensure that it is safe to operate and on many occasions, pre-warn you of imminent failure.
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
PPM servicing will improve equipment efficiency, so reducing the incidence of breakdowns, pre-empting component failure and minimising overall downtime. Additionally, planned maintenance ensures that your equipment and premises comply with important Health & Safety requirements such as the Gas Safety Regulations.
In addition to equipment checking servicing and problem diagnosis PPM visits include a comprehensive condition report. These reports are a valuable business tool, updating auditable asset listings and analytical management information on equipment expenditure, so enabling better informed commercial decisions for equipment replacement.
Levels of visits are pre-planned based on experience, the type of establishment, special customer needs and the condition of equipment used. We agree a number of service visits, with a minimum of two visits, up to any number required, during each one year period. Contracts are set for a minimum of a year, but we also offer rolling contracts so that you can be sure your business is always covered.
With a PPM agreement in place, our experienced staff will carefully plan, schedule and manage the service visits, liaise with Customers and Customer sites prior to our engineers’ visit and complete works in good time with the minimal amount of disruption.
We offer two levels of maintenance cover:
PPM visit only – preventative maintenance servicing work on the schedule of equipment listed within the contract, according to the number of visits per annum. All call-outs and parts are charged separately at the Company’s current rates.
Breakdown Inclusive Contract
PPM visits and Breakdown Cover – preventative maintenance servicing work on the schedule of equipment listed within the contract, according to the number of visits per annum and all breakdown calls during normal working hours. Out of hours emergency calls and parts are charged separately at the Company’s current rates.
