Our kitchen support plan for lockdown 2.0

Lockdown 2.0 has officially begun, and from us all here at NWCE Foodservice Equipment, we want you to know that we’re here to support you and your commercial kitchen in whatever way you need.

After going through the first lockdown earlier on in the year, we’ve been able to pull together a plan that we hope will provide you with all the support and guidance you need over the next 4 weeks and in the run up to Christmas.

If your kitchen or bar isn’t able to serve takeaway and you have to close the kitchen down, have a read of one of our previous blogs that we wrote. It focuses on how to correctly shut down your kitchen in preparation for re-opening in December.

We’re also currently working on a blog which will help and advise you on what to do when it’s time to open back up again, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

NWCE Commercial Kitchen Support Plan

Just like we did in the very first lockdown, we want to reiterate that we are on hand for anything that you might need! We will happily offer advice for free over the phone so you can ring us whenever you need too. All of our teams will be fully operational throughout the whole 4 week period. And we understand that after 4 week of being closed, the kitchen might not be running as well as it used too, that’s why we want to provide free engineering visits and other offers to help bring you back to full capacity.

Service Contracts

To all of our customers who currently have service contracts with us, we will temporarily pause all service contracts, backdating the contract pause date to the date the government advised against all visits to hospitality establishments, which is the 05/11/2020.

We are more than happy to extend your contract by the amount of days the government closes your establishments.

All direct debits have been suspends as we don’t agree with you paying for a service that isn’t being used. And for future payments we will set up payment plans in order to help you with your cashflow.

However, we will still carry out all our contractual obligated tasks as they should be, including services and attending breakdowns to make sure you are ready to open!

Rental Appliance Contracts

Similar to the service contract, we  will temporarily pause all rental contracts, backdating the contract pause date to the date the government advised against all visits to hospitality establishments, which is the 05/11/2020. We will extend your contract by the amount of days the government closes all establishments. All direct debits have been suspended however, we will still carry out all our contractual obligated tasks as they should be, including servicing the unit for you, then you are also ready to re-open.

Please if you need anything at all just let us know. Our office staff are available through our website or over the phone on 0161 764 8688.
