NWCE Foodservice Equipment have recently grown their team with some great new additions to their Sales and Projects department.
As a company, NWCE and their engineers are known for carrying out project installations, service/maintenance tasks and breakdown cover. They have however added more staff to their already solid projects team.
This now eight strong team will solely focus on the design, specification, build and completion of full commercial kitchens and bars
Speaking about the thought process behind this investment, Ben Odling, Managing Director of NWCE Foodservice Equipment said: ‘Like many during the early part of the pandemic and initial lockdown we had a drop in revenue. Our strategy here was to fight through and plug that gap.
I had noticed that due to cutbacks, there was a pool of extremely talented and experienced people being let go and I thought it would be a massive loss to the industry if we didn’t try to help them and bank on their knowledge.
And that is how we came up with our investment in Project’s strategy.
We wanted to fight through the hard times and now I believe this is our way forward, to focus more on creating bespoke, brand new full commercial kitchens and bars. Our investment will be helped by our already very strong installations department which consists of 3 teams of dedicated and trained installation engineers and project managers.
The benefit also of having a very well established and efficient service department means we can back up any projects that we deliver with great aftercare and warranties.
From everyone at NWCE, we’re all very excited to welcome our new team members into the business and we can’t wait to see the department grow and flourish.’
The team is headed up by Nick Brassett who is the Head of Business Development and Lyndon Moorby who is Head of Design.
Both have over 30 years of experience working within the catering industry. They have both previously worked together at YCE on large national accounts, and spent years focusing on the creation of commercial kitchens and bars.
Other new members of the team include –
Jake Gorton, who is the Design and Estimating Coordinator with previous experience of dealing with large projects and key accounts.
David Raistrick, the Commercial Manager who comes with over 35 years of experience in the catering industry, mainly in management and consultancy roles.
Kevin Nesbitt who is the Senior Project Manager with over 20 years of experience. He is a fully qualified project manager and gas engineer who has many large projects under his belt.
Donna Hillidge an established member of the Sales Team, will also be backing up our projects team with her vast experience of sales and projects aftercare for maintenance contracts and asset management.
