The Lebanese Bakery

NWCE Foodservice Equipment strengthens its longstanding relationship with the Qoot restaurant group by collaborating on the opening of The Lebanese Bakery in Harrods. NWCE partnered with Qoot to design, advise, and install the commercial kitchen, bakery, and signature marble counter at this flagship location in the heart of Knightsbridge.

THE LEBANESE BAKERY

The Lebanese Bakery in Harrods follows the tradition set by the original Bakery in Achrafieh, Beirut, and the first UK location in Covent Garden. This new location will serve its popular Manoushe and signature specials, including Beef Shawarma, exclusively for Harrods patrons.

The team at NWCE, along with Qoot and LXA Project Management, demonstrated remarkable dedication by completing the project during the initial lockdown in June 2020. Their efforts ensured a successful opening on 1st September.

A Seamless Collaboration

NWCE’s expertise in commercial kitchen design played a crucial role in this venture. By using their industry knowledge, they advised on the best layout and equipment for the space. The seamless integration of the kitchen and bakery equipment highlights NWCE’s commitment to quality and precision.

Qoot restaurant group relied on NWCE’s guidance and experience to create a space that not only meets operational needs but also enhances the customer experience. The signature marble counter, a focal point of the design, adds elegance and functionality to the bakery.

Innovation and Tradition

While The Lebanese Bakery brings a taste of Beirut to London, it also introduces unique offerings tailored to Harrods’ discerning clientele. By combining traditional recipes with innovative concepts, the bakery offers a menu that appeals to both new and returning customers.

Facing Challenges Together

The pandemic presented numerous challenges, yet the collaboration between NWCE, Qoot, and LXA Project Management proved resilient. By adhering to safety protocols and maintaining open communication, the teams overcame obstacles and prepared for the grand opening.

In conclusion, the opening of The Lebanese Bakery in Harrods marks another milestone in NWCE’s partnership with Qoot. This project exemplifies their shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and culinary tradition. Together, they have created a space that celebrates Lebanese cuisine while adapting to the unique environment of Harrods.
