Leading catering and foodservice engineering company NWCE Foodservice Equipment, based in Bolton, have become one of the latest companies and one of the first in the catering equipment industry to join The Northern Powerhouse.
The Northern Powerhouse is the Government’s vision for a super connected, globally – competitive northern economy with a flourishing private sector, a highly – skilled population, and world – renowned civic and business leadership.
The Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme is an essential part of creating the Northern Powerhouse.
The Government is growing a network of partners who all believe strongly in the economic potential of the North and support the need for a combined effort by government and business to realise that potential.
Minister for the Northern Powerhouse, the Rt Hon Jake Berry MP, said:
“I am pleased to announce NWCE Foodservice Equipment as one of the latest members of the growing Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme.
“Based in Greater Manchester region, which has benefitted from over £660 million support from the Government’s Local Growth Fund, NWCE is committed to supporting the catering industry to flourish and working alongside more than 300 other partners organisations to help the North reach its full economic potential.”
There are businesses and organisations from across the North from a variety of sectors signed up to the partner programme.

NWCE are one of over 100 partners spread across the North of England who’s aim is to work together in the future to create an economic boost and help improve and increase investment in the area.
